It is a good way to get your work done faster. It is so much easier.

\nWe get to get our work done faster. We don't have to go to the school everyday and do the work.

\nWhen we need help it is easier in person, and we have to have the work turned in on time that day.

It gave me alot of responsibility because I had to remember to do my assignments everyday without having somebody over my shoulder telling me exactly what to do, I had to figure out alot on my own. I think that over all it was a great learning experience.

\nTwo advantages to taking this class are..I didn't have to worry about keeping up or slowing down to match my class mates pace, like in most classes. It was a very indepindent experience, and it allowed me to do other things throughout the day.

\nTwo disadantages were it was difficult for me to figure out some of the projects on my own. At times it seemed like there was alot of work to figure out on my own but, it was worth it in the long run.

I use computers to clock in and out of work, for school, and information on any questions or thoughts I might have.
\nI think technology can hurt and help. We somtimes become to dependable on technology to make our own way but technology helps give jobs and is made up of people helping other people.
\ni do think that we have more then enough technology integreted in our life at school. Everyone was capable of getting a proper education before computers before. So as i student i do not think anymore technology wise is needed for teachers to enhance learning at school.
\nI think BSHS requires this class to graduate because it will be a neccessary skill to have in the future.
\nEvery year somthing new is made, created, or in the works. Technology grows everyday, and as it grows we will depend on it even more. I think technology is both helping and hurting teenagers, it is helping because it is something that we all need to learn eventually so you might as well learn at a young age. It is not so helpfull because kids, teens, and even adults get way to cought up in it. I used to think that there was to much technology put into schooling, until I took this class I would have to ask about everything, weather I had to ask a teacher or another student. I do, however, think it is outragus when a teacher gives you a powerpoint, persay, and has you do all this crazy stuff, but if you ask them how they don't have the slightest clue. I have run into that problem before. I think BSHS requires a computer before graduation because the stuff you learn, you will use and need later on in life, in college even. My name is Randa and I'm 14. I'm going to be a freshmen this year at BSHS. I love to swim, bike, run, all that fun stuff! I have an older sister and a younger brother. \nI took keyboarding because as a freshmen i want to get all my Kansas Board of Regements credits out of the way so i can have more fun junior and senior year. I think that having most of our assignments online is perfect for those who have the resources and tools needed to particpate. I like how we can work ahead if we want to and then just have fun instead of work part of the day, everyday.

\nWhat I really want out of keyboarding is to improve my speed and knowledge of software. I already know basic functions for Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Publisher, but only enough to get by. I think it will be important in the future to be able to quickly and fluently use computers, so this can only help me. I'm best at using Microsoft Word, but I don't know all the little tricks yet so I'm looking forward to what I can learn.
